(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The head of the department of Engineering Projects in Al Abbas Holy Shrine, Eng. Dia Majeed Alsaegh said that After removing the old tiles, works launched to rebuild the holy shrine covering it with new Karbalai tiles.
"After we finished the works, we started covering the holy dome with the same tiles used in covering the walls and other parts of the holy shrine," he added."This phase will be finished before the Mid-Shaban Visitation 1433," engineer Dia assured.The department of Engineering Projects in Al Abbas Holy Shrine implemented so many projects inside and outside the holy shrine including this project.
It is worth mentioning that the holy shrine of Imam Mahdi (a.s) hasn’t been rebuilt before as it is now. Effects of the environment became so sever and it was necessary to rebuild the holy shrine again.
